MACKENZIE BEHM IS A MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST WITH A PASSION FOR STORYTELLING.
Currently, she is working on bringing compelling video stories and photojournalism to the Gainesville community through her work with WUFT News. She will be earning a B.S. in journalism in May 2020 from the University of Florida.
In past visual documentaries, she showed the impact of pulling sailing from the Paralympic Games. In another piece, she followed a midget wrestling group across Florida -- camping out backstage at their shows and filming them in their hotel rooms to capture the real moments behind the unique group. Formerly, she worked as the first multimedia editor in the history of the The Independent Florida Alligator, one of the largest student-run publications in the country.
She has written for publications such as Babe, Spoon University and The Tab and has done photojournalism internationally in France, Germany and the UK.
Her work as a storyteller has brought issue-based problems to light and has captivated the differences that make us alike. She is available for assignments upon contact and is seeking internship opportunities for the summer of 2019.
