MACKENZIE BEHM IS A MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST WITH A PASSION FOR STORYTELLING.
Mackenzie Behm is a Hearst award-winning journalist who is currently working as a multimedia producer for WUFT News. She has produced content for publications such as The Washington Post, WUFT News, The Independent Florida Alligator, Babe, Spoon University and The Tab and has accomplished photojournalism internationally in France, Germany and the UK.
In past visual documentaries, she showed the impact of pulling sailing from the Paralympic Games. She featured a Panhandle woman post Hurricane Michael who started taking homeless locals into her backyard. In another piece, she followed a midget wrestling group across Florida -- camping out backstage at their shows and filming them in their hotel rooms to capture the real moments behind the unique group.
Her work as a storyteller has brought issue-based problems to light and has captivated the differences that make us alike. She is available for assignments upon contact and is seeking internship opportunities for the summer of 2019. She will be earning a B.S. in journalism in May 2020 from the University of Florida.
